What started as a one-woman shop has blossomed into a full-service operation with a team of freelance and contract partners who assist with client projects. Our History

nu marketing’s story began in February 2014 when Lindsay Young, Chief Difference Maker, responded to a need for customized strategic marketing services in the architectural, engineering, and construction industries. She left the comforts of a steady job because her drive for excellence, her love of building relationships and her reputation as an expert opened the door. She walked through that door and only looks back to marvel at how far she’s come.

Since the company’s inception, nu marketing has been singularly focused on helping their AEC customers augment their marketing efforts and gain a competitive edge. While nu marketing has expanded over the last 10 years, one thing has remained constant: our dedication to providing world-class marketing services to our clients to help them grow their businesses. It’s what we do. And we do it well.

Lindsay Young

CHIEF DIFFERENCE MAKER

Strategist. Networker. Communicator.
Lindsay consults with small- to medium-sized design and construction firms on their marketing and business development plans. Through effective strategies, she helps businesses increase their profits and build their businesses. With almost twenty years of experience, she helps companies with marketing strategies, brand perception surveys, trade show implementation, customer and employee events, presentations, social media presence, employee training, and project management of branding and website redevelopment.

Lindsay loves all things PINK, spending time at the lake, is a red dirt country music junkie and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She’s been married to her best friend and husband, Aaron, for seventeen years.

Dan Convey

DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Diligent. Crazy Committed. Responsive.
Dan has been a nu marketing team member for many years helping clients look good! He handles graphic design, social media management, newsletters, video production, and website management for nu marketing and clients. Dan is committed to his work and very responsive.

Dan is a Master qualified in Graphic Design from London Metropolitan Uni and has his professional certificate in UX & UI Design. He has his Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography, Video and Digital imaging.

One of his favorite experiences was volunteering in Peru to help disadvantaged teenagers improve their lives. When Dan isn’t making clients dreams realities, he enjoys vacationing and spending time with his wife.

Olivia Haselwood

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Olivia is a seasoned marketing professional with a journalism background, specializing in driving brand engagement and revenue growth through compelling copy, proposal development, and strategic social media management for more than a decade. Her key skills include crafting revenue-generating proposals, meticulous copywriting, and managing social media and website content.

This Wichita State University graduate excels in bridging her communication degree and marketing, with a proven track record in creating engaging content and designs.
Beyond work, Olivia enjoys exploring nature on horseback with her husband, Winslow, and spending time with her small zoo of animals.

Rachel Spicer

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Attention to detail. Imaginative. Creative.
Rachel has a keen eye for design with over thirteen years of experience. She has experience in the construction industry and understands what contractors need when marketing their business.

Rachel handles marketing tasks including graphic design, content marketing, and website management. She received her Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Kansas State University.

When Rachel isn’t busy helping clients market their businesses, she is chasing around her four children, three boys and a girl. She and her husband, Evan, enjoy spending time with friends and family.
